There was once a time where Faeo was not all so peaceful. There were no luxuries of banks, trade fairs or indeed even many tamable beasts to ride. These were the days where chaos choked the land. Hunters and gatherers were not at peace, it was a rare occasion to spend an hour gathering resources without being ambushed by the servants of chaos.
The fate of Faeo was turning from bad to worse, and Sheara could see this written in the stars. The mighty mistress of dragons thought long and hard for many moons trying to come up with a solution to rid the land of chaos. Many armies had already been lost, and the two dragons Erifarius and Striagorn could not alone defeat these scum.
One night, a prophecy came to Sheara in a dream, showing her a legendary weapon capable of uniting the power of the two dragons - and only a true hero could wield it.
It had to be worth a shot, so Sheara brought together the best locksmiths of Faeo, regardless of their race and summoned the mighty dragons too. The blacksmiths set to work forging the legendary blade under Sheara's guidance, and the dragons each set their power into the blade. Striagorn and Erifarius looked down at the blade and both inhaled deeply. A moment passed and they unleashed roaring flames over the weapon, they were surprised that it had survived, as any regular blade would simply melt away.
After the hot air had cleared around the newly forged blade, Sheara came to inspect the work. It was just like the prophecy had shown, and when held had a legendary aura around it.
For many months of chaos still destroying the world, Sheara carefully chose the hero who was not only worthy to weild the blade, but one who could bear the weight of many battles ahead on their shoulders.
The hero was chosen. Many battles were fought, and all were won.
Chaos was reduced to dust, and Sheara was able to banish them long enough for the nations of Khair and Ogiry to rebuild their cities and regain their lives... |
